Patch Program To System State
Using the logical block dump option of the System Service Tools, the Program State Flag are 'in the open' and available for anyone that care to look.
Use System Service Tools - Display/Alter/Dump
The Program State Flag is located at offset 105C.
- x0001 - User State
- x0080 - System State
The patching doesn't survive a save/restore and software vendors are using the virtual terminal API to perform this sort of patching from their install procedures.
